Job Title: ServiceNow Architect

Location: Nashville, TN or  Dallas,TX - Hybrid

Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on ServiceNow Architect -HRSDwith deep expertise in HR Service Delivery (HRSD) to lead the design, enhancement, and governance of medium to large-scale enterprise implementations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess at least 10 years of IT industry experience, including 6+ years specifically dedicated to the ServiceNow platform

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering HRSD implementations within large-scale enterprise environments

  • Strong technical expertise in providing hands-on support and driving enhancements for live HRSD production landscapes


Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Solution Design

  • Own end-to-end architecture for ServiceNow HRSD solutions including Employee Lifecycle, Case Management, and Knowledge Management

  • Design scalable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, security, and data governance standards

  • Drive standardization across HR services, workflows, and operating models

Hands-on Development & Enhancements

  • Actively contribute to development, configuration, and customization on the ServiceNow platform

  • Lead enhancements across existing HRSD implementations with focus on stability, scalability, and reuse

  • Troubleshoot complex issues across production and pre-production environments

Platform Governance & Optimization

  • Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and peer review practices

  • Manage technical debt, ensure upgrade readiness, and improve platform performance

  • Drive continuous improvement across the HRSD landscape

Integration & Data Management

  • Architect integrations with HR systems such as SuccessFactors, SAP, Docusign, and a variety of Enterprise Applications using REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHub

  • Ensure strong data security through ACLs, encryption, and compliance controls

Upgrades & Platform Support

  • Lead ServiceNow platform upgrades including planning, impact analysis, testing, and rollout

  • Ensure minimal disruption to business during upgrades and releases

  • Work closely with ServiceNow Support to troubleshoot product issues, raise HI tickets, and drive resolution

  • Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for platform issues

Delivery & Collaboration

  • Partner with HR, business stakeholders, and offshore delivery teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions

  • Mentor developers and ensure high-quality engineering practices

  • Support both project delivery and sustainment tracks

HRSD Functional & Technical Expertise

  • HR Case Management including case lifecycle, task orchestration, SLAs, and templates

  • HR Knowledge Management including lifecycle, access controls, and knowledge-driven self-service

  • Employee Lifecycle Events including onboarding, offboarding, and cross-functional workflows

  • Employee Service Center and service catalog configuration

  • HR Agent Workspace configuration and optimization

  • Strong understanding of HR data model, COEs, and sensitive data handling

Platform & Engineering Expertise

  • Strong scripting experience including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies

  • Workflow automation using Flow Designer and Playbooks

  • Integration experience using REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHub

  • Experience with Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, or Now Assist is a plus

  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and system optimization skills

Platform Operations

  • Experience handling ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and release management

  • Experience working with ServiceNow Support including HI tickets and product issue resolution

Compensation:  The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 per year depending on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
