Senior AI Solution Architect

We are seeking a Senior AI Solution Architect who shares our passion for innovation and transformation. This role is critical in building advanced AI-driven solutions that enable our business partners to evolve and meet the growing demand for personalized, intelligent digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Architecture Ownership & Leadership
The Authoritative Blueprint: Produce and maintain the end-to-end architecture blueprints, system context diagrams, component designs, data flow models, and API specifications for four delivery pods.
Architectural Decisions (ADRs): Make, document, and defend binding architectural choices, evaluating constraints and long-term impacts.
Pod Governance: Run architecture reviews with pod tech leads to ensure cross-cutting cohesion and resolve conflicts early.
Executive Stakeholder Management: Present, defend, and earn confidence in the technical design under scrutiny from the client's CTO, CISO, and Enterprise Architecture Board.
2. AI & Agentic System Design
Orchestration & Routing: Design LLM routing strategies, multi-agent coordination patterns, intent classification pipelines, and session/memory management.
The Tool Gateway: Specify the deterministic policy engine implementing the Trust Dial (Suggest / Approve / Act) governance framework.
Context & RAG: Design vector database schemas, embedding pipelines, retrieval strategies, and real-time context data contracts.
Inference Optimization: Oversee model selection (Anthropic Claude Haiku/Sonnet), token budget management, latency SLAs, and circuit-breaker/fallback design.
Evaluation Infrastructure: Establish automated production AI evaluation, continuous verification, and tracing pipelines.
3. Banking Systems & Modernization Integration
Legacy Decoupling: Define an API facade strategy to progressively wrap, version, and migrate the bank's 70% legacy services using strangler fig patterns.
Financial Controls: Enforce integration standards covering authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and critical financial idempotency patterns.
Real-Time Streaming: Specify the Kafka/MSK event infrastructure to stream real-time banking triggers (e.g., salary credits, fraud flags) directly to the AI orchestrator.
4. Security, Compliance & Governance
Threat Modeling: Map and mitigate prompt injections, data exfiltration, model manipulation, and API abuse vectors.
Model Risk Management (MRM): Build the technical framework for audit logging, model explainability mechanisms, and human-in-the-loop compliance checkpoints.
DevSecOps & Cost: Architect container security gates, SAST/DAST integration, secrets management, and efficient LLM auto-scaling/cost attribution profiles.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Essential Criteria
Enterprise Architecture: 8+ years of hands-on architecture experience delivering large-scale, complex technology programs. Strong pattern knowledge across microservices, event-driven architectures, saga orchestration, and CQRS.
Banking Domain Fluency: 5+ years of banking or fintech architecture experience. Deep knowledge of retail platforms, payment rails (SWIFT, local ACH/RTGS), card management, fraud/AML engines, and core legacy system integration.
Production AI Architecture: 3+ years designing and operating real-world LLM or AI/ML systems at scale (not proof-of-concepts). Expert-level knowledge of RAG pipelines, agent state tracking, and tool calling schemas.
Cloud & Security: High proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud architecture, Kubernetes orchestration, zero-trust patterns (mTLS, OAuth 2.0/OIDC), and IaC (Terraform/CDK).
Desirable Criteria
Academic background in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Pro, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF).
Architectural experience with regional frameworks (CBUAE, DFSA, ADGM) and mobile runtime systems like Flutter.
