Cloud Engineer with GCP

Right now, we are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team at Globant! This Studio combines the best cloud technologies, continuous integration and continuous delivery practices along with unique Globant capabilities to facilitate new and more efficient way of doing business.

What will help you succeed:

• English communication skill is a must (B2 or upper).
• Experience with a variety of Cloud Solutions such as IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
• Experience with migration from On-prem infrastructure to Cloud implementations.
• Strong knowledge on Operating Systems (Linux and Windows) deploy, troubleshooting, administration and support.
• Solid knowledge of Networking and base protocols for system administration.
• Solid understanding of Security, Availability, Scalability and resilience in Cloud environments.
• Experience on cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, Azure.
• Knowledge on Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Good understanding on Microservices and containers.
• Strong knowledge of Puppet or Chef experience (Configuration Management and/or Continuous Delivery) and integration with virtual environments (Vagrant, VirtualBox, AWS EC2).
• Good understanding of monitoring resources and services on Cloud environments.
• Configuration management and automation tools.
