Responsibilities |
Examining and Analyzing High Availability needs and requirements, developing and providing Design and Implementation to support the project's requirements |
Present automation Solutions to support a large mission critical application. |
Review and make recommendations for tuning existing environments. |
Define and lead the adoption of best practices and processes. |
Experiment with new technologies to make sure we can scale for the future. |
Experience |
Knowledge / Hands-on experience with setup/maintenance for Linux/Ubuntu |
Experience installing software/patches and server administration |
Strong technical analytical and troubleshooting skills, security awareness and knowledge in OS hardening |
Knowledge / Experience in Scripting for automation |
Experience on different OS (Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, Linux) |
Core Requirements |
Knowledge of GCP and/or AWS |
Hands on experience with SCM (git, perforce) |
Devops skill set comprising of the following: |
Terraform |

Experience with Bash |
Skills |
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field |
6+ years of industry experience working with Oracle, Sybase, Informix |
Demonstrated experience with DevOps Automation tools: Puppet, Terraform, Ansible, GCP |
Experience with Kubernates |
Experience with Unix/Linux development environments and some database programming. |
Strong passion about automation, testing, and code quality. |
