Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Worksoft Automation Tester with deep expertise in Worksoft Certify automation tool and functional knowledge across SAP SD, MM, FICO, and Retail modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, enhancing automation framework, and executing automation suites for SAP implementations and rollouts, while supporting SIT cycles and ensuring regression stability across global deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Strategy & Development
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Worksoft Certify.
Build automation suites covering WRICEF objects and configuration-driven processes.
Analyze functional specifications and configuration documents to determine automation feasibility.
Implementing layered automation design (Process → Subprocess → Layout → Data)
Creating reusable task libraries for cross-country rollouts
Managing parameterization for multi-country deployment
Strong hands-on experience with Certify Process Capture & Recorder, Certify Process Designer, Certify Data Management (Data Tables, Data-Driven Testing), SAP GUI automation, SAP Fiori automation and Web UI automation
Estimate automation scope based on:
WRICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
Configuration changes
Integration touchpoints
Enhance and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
Regression & Rollout Support
Understand and quickly adapt to large, pre-existing automation suites (thousands of test cases) from previously deployed countries.
Execute regression test cycles using the existing suite.
Identify reusable components and localize scripts for new country implementations.
Maintain regression stability across releases.
Functional & SIT Support
Participate in SIT cycles and support end-to-end business process validation.
Perform manual test execution when automation is not feasible.
Collaborate with functional consultants (SD, MM, FICO, Retail) to understand business process changes.
Log defects with proper replication steps and impact analysis.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage and execution efficiency.
Support CI/CD integration for automated regression cycles.
Maintain documentation for automation scripts and execution results.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience in Worksoft Certify (minimum 8 years preferred).
Experience in SAP automation across: SAP SD (Order-to-Cash), SAP MM (Procure-to-Pay), SAP FICO, SAP Retail.
Experience in automating Master data processes, Transactional flows, Batch jobs and integrations.
Experience handling large automation repositories (1000+ scripts).
Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP business processes.
Strong estimation and planning skills.
Exposure to CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
Knowledge of test data management strategies.
