Salary: 85,000–120,000 annually 

 

About the role 

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to support a Deloitte project team. This role will be responsible for developing, customizing, integrating, and maintaining SAP applications to meet business requirements and enhance system performance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP ABAP, S/4HANA, RAP, and UI5/Fiori development, along with experience working in Agile environments and integrating SAP with other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and customize SAP applications using ABAP and other SAP development tools.
Design and develop solutions using RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) and UI5/Fiori.
Design, implement, test, and maintain scalable applications supporting business-critical functions.
Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and other systems to ensure seamless data flow.
Review functional requirements and translate functional specifications into technical specifications.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve SAP application and integration issues.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and code documentation.
Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.
Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes using tools such as Jira and Confluence.


Required Qualifications
Senior-level experience in SAP ABAP development.
Strong hands-on experience with RAP and UI5/Fiori development.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ABAP, and SAP Fiori.
Experience with software design, development, testing, debugging, CI/CD processes, and development tools.
Experience designing and maintaining system integrations and interfaces.
Strong ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Experience working with Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Experience with collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Teams, and Zoom.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
U.S. Citizenship is required due to specific system access requirements.


Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Product Sourcing, Quotation Management, and Interfaces.
Experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) and/or CAP (Cloud Application Programming).
Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration.
Experience with SAP BTP API Hub / API Management.
Experience with SolMan, Focused Build, or CHARM.
Experience with GitLab or GitHub.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively within a virtual team environment.


Working Conditions

Remote/virtual work environment with minimal travel.
