QC Analyst

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking a QC Analyst to support a Deloitte project by ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of enterprise software applications. This role combines manual testing, defect analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, requiring a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance best practices.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working closely with developers, business stakeholders, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute test cases and document test results to ensure software meets business and technical requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and validate software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers and project teams to understand application functionality and testing requirements.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new code changes do not impact existing functionality.
- Participate in test planning, test case creation, and peer reviews.
- Support functional, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Maintain testing documentation and provide regular status updates on testing progress.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience as a QA Tester, QA Analyst, or Software Test Engineer.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
- Experience creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and test plans.
- Ability to identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools.
- Experience performing regression, functional, and integration testing.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments is preferred.
Salary Range:
$75,000 – $95,000 USD
