What do we expect from you:
2-3 years of hands-on experience working with Snowflake.
Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries.
At least 1 year of experience using ETL tools such as Matillion.
Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lead and mentor team members effectively.
Good command of English language, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Nice to have: knowledge of DataOps (DevOps applied to data), Git, AWS S3, API basics, and Shell Scripting (BASH).
What you can expect from us:
Design and develop Snowflake data models to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with the data engineering team to build and maintain matillion data pipelines feeding into Snowflake.
Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data into Snowflake.
Optimize database performance by tuning queries and analyzing execution plans.
Create and maintain documentation for Snowflake processes and procedures.
Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide data solutions to meet those needs.
Lead and mentor team members, provide guidance and support.
Communicate with stakeholders effectively, including technical and non-technical audiences.
Apply data architecture patterns to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of data solutions.
