Project Manager (Game Domain)

We seek a Project Manager (Game domain) who shares our passion for innovation and change for Globant Games Studio. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.
Location: Vietnam (HN/DN/HCM)
Kindly note that this position is open to Vietnamese candidates or candidates currently residing in Vietnam only.
YOU WILL GET THE CHANCE TO:
The Project Manager will lead and coordinate game development projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to manage resources, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
1. Scope Management
- Define, control, and manage project boundaries to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations, budget, and timeline.
- Adapt to scope changes with clear communication and impact analysis.
2. Resource Management
- Plan, allocate, and optimize human, technical, and financial resources to meet project goals.
- Forecast, budget, and manage bandwidth across teams.
3. Time/Schedule Management
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including dependencies and resource constraints.
- Perform critical path analysis using tools such as Smartsheets or timeline spreadsheets.
4. Communication Management
- Lead project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder presentations.
- Maintain clear documentation and ensure transparency at all levels.
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills preferably with Game development domain knowledge (but not mandatory).
5. Risk Management
- Maintain a comprehensive project log (risks, assumptions, constraints, issues, lessons learned).
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to maintain project momentum.
- Seeking a project manager with proven expertise in risk identification, schedule assessment, and proactive mitigation strategies.
6. Integration Management
- Ensure seamless coordination across teams
- Drive project completion through leadership and stakeholder alignment.
- Balance trade-offs and unify project components into a cohesive whole.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED?
Experience in project management
Good at English
Experience in Game domain
Strong independent PM experience and collaborative working skills are required
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheets).
Knowledge of Jaas/Jira.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
