Now we are looking for a Product Owner for a Full Time or C2C position on site in Berkeley Heights, NJ or in Alpharetta, GA to join our team at Globant!
You will be a part of our federal system modernization within our Government Solutions organization. You are the type of person that has excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors). You also have a positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts.
The Product Owner (PO) is a member of the Agile Delivery Team responsible for:
- Defining user stories
- Prioritizing the Team Backlog to align with customer values
- Synthesizing these values with the technical capabilities of the scrum team to iteratively build functional increments of a product solution
- Experience in managing backlogs in Agile lifecycle.
- Experience working across a small sized Agile implementation (1-2 teams)
You can look forward to:
- Articulating product vision and user stories in a manner clearly understandable to development teams
- Managing user stories for one or more products
- Prioritizing backlog based on user value, time, and other dependencies
- Iteration planning and communication with overall program leadership and architects
- Establishing user story acceptance criteria, accepts user stories, refining stories with Scrum teams.
- Reviewing and providing feedback on test plans to ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria.
- Leading team and/or client system demonstrations
You will need to have:
- 5+ years as a Product Owner in an agile environment
- 5+ years experience in data warehousing/data mining/data analytics.
- 3+ years prior experience with core banking applications, financial systems and/or digital delivery
- High School Diploma Required; Bachelor's degree highly preferred in Computer Information Systems, Project Management, Software Engineering or similar
- Has to have experience on technology projects with mid sized teams
- Will be responsible to write break down Epics into smaller user stories and assign to the teams
- Please note, that this is NOT a product manager role, but product owner
It would be great to have:
- Agile Certification (CSM, CSPO, CSP)
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience and systems development environment experience
- Understanding of product strategy, market, industry, and client goals.
- Experience working with stakeholders to understand business problem statements and convert them into user stories.
- 5+ years of banking financial industry knowledge
Globant reasonably expects the annual base compensation for this role to be between $116,200 to $188,400. Specific offer details are determined by carefully considering a variety of factors, including the candidate’s primary work location, skills, experience, education, market demands, and internal parity.
