Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sitecore Developer to join our dynamic team at Globant Create. As a Senior Sitecore Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Sitecore-based web applications and solutions for our clients, who are prominent Fortune 500 companies based in the United States.
In this role, you will work on larger .com projects, leveraging your extensive Sitecore expertise to create digital experiences that meet the unique needs and demands of our prestigious clients. You will be at the forefront of innovation, working on projects that have a significant impact on the digital landscape and help shape the online presence of these industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gain a deep understanding of client requirements, objectives, and business goals. Many of these projects will be large-scale .com initiatives that demand careful planning and execution.
- Design and implement scalable and maintainable Sitecore solutions that align with the client's brand and strategic vision.
- Develop and customize Sitecore templates, layouts, components, and modules, ensuring that they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client's project. Your contributions will directly impact the success of these high-profile websites.
- Integrate third-party systems and applications seamlessly with Sitecore, optimizing the functionality and user experience of these websites.
- Play a key role in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Sitecore implementations, providing efficient solutions to maintain the reliability and performance of these critical digital assets.
- Continuously optimize website performance to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Sitecore trends, technologies, and best practices, applying your knowledge to push the boundaries of what's possible in the digital realm.
- Assist in project planning, estimation, and documentation, ensuring that project milestones and deliverables are met to the satisfaction of our clients.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sitecore Developer, with at least 6 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong Experience with Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA)
- Strong proficiency in Sitecore CMS, including Sitecore XP.
- Experience with Sitecore JSS is a plus.
- Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET MVC.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and best practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Sitecore certification(s) is a plus.
