Globant Create is looking for an ambitious senior strategist with 6+ years of agency experience consulting with Fortune 500 companies to join our team in New York.

The Senior Strategist is a team leader and a creative problem solver who will craft and oversee strategies for our clients from initial brief to execution. We move fast, so we need someone who can work quickly and collaboratively, at times taking minimal information and filling in the gaps with insight experience, and structure. From initial insight to final presentations, we need someone who can craft a strategy into a persuasive story that will drive tangible value for our clients and their customers.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Act as the client-facing lead for major accounts within the strategy team, ensuring the successful achievement of project objectives, a strong focus on customer experience (CX), and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Take charge of delivering high-quality insights and strategy materials.
  • Skillfully structure, analyze, and synthesize data from various sources, including qualitative interviews with subject matter experts (SMEs) and leadership, analytics, quantitative surveys, and search insights, to identify implications that guide the overarching strategy.
  • Lead the process of gathering requirements by thoroughly analyzing the client's digital ecosystem, conducting background research, client interviews, workshops, and ideation sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate exceptional presentation skills and convey expertise when presenting to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as UX, design, and technology, to ensure a cohesive connection between insights and strategy and the eventual creation and implementation of solutions.
  • Foster strong and enduring relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and a creative problem solver.
  • Provide support and mentorship to junior colleagues involved in similar projects while staying up-to-date on emerging digital trends to enhance analyses and client discussions.

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or previous relevant experience in marketing, advertising or communications.
  • 6+ years working as a digital strategist, product manager or product owner at an in-house digital marketing agency or consulting agency.
  • Experience consulting to C-level clients, and comfortable building relationships and providing clear strategic guidance to senior management.
  • A problem-solving mindset and ability to apply strategic thinking, including mathematical proficiency and ability to turn raw data into insights.    
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative research skills.
  • Strong experience in data analysis including Google Analytics, Search, and Social analysis.
  • Strong strategy experience including gap analysis, ecosystem mapping, KPI framework, stakeholder profiling/digital personas, customer decision journeys, and content strategies.
  • Comfortable in ambiguity and able to provide clear direction to a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills as well as presentation experience – crafting visually appealing and delivering impactful presentations.

 

Salary range

$90-120k (based on experience and skill)
