Right now, we are looking for Sysadmin Engineers to join our team at Globant!

• Engages with Business Solution Areas to define requirements/needs for issue resolution
• Contribute to documentation to enhance Knowledge Management
• Be responsible for day-to-day oversight of environment consumption
• Provide on call assistance and support towards platform availability
• Provide oversight and confirmation of monthly patching from vendor(s) for application up-time and smooth completion (weekend coverage), patching services provided by peer team, Windows --Server Engineering owns the governance.
• Support new server refresh efforts with server builds

What will help you succeed:

• Knowledge of and experience with MS Windows Server OS with emphasis on designing and building enterprise scale deployments
• Images, GPO, Secure configuration, ability to troubleshoot/support with peer teams ancillary processes such as patching, audit, etc. Knowledge of SCCM (Patching) and understanding of vulnerability research (CVE’s) is required.
• Knowledge of and experience with infrastructure automation
• Strong knowledge of PowerShell and PowerCLI
• Understanding of network and firewall requirements for server builds
• Ability to manage conversations with customers, vendors, management not only for daily tasks but projects and interruptions
• Demonstrated knowledge of AWS and Azure for Enterprise support/installations and technical control implementations of Compute
• Solve and manage walkup/cases and day to day priority for assigned work
