Java Developer

Right now, we are looking for a Java Developer to join our team at Globant!
You will get the chance to:
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure microservices using Java and Spring Boot;
- Develop and deploy applications in cloud environments (AWS);
- Utilize Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration to ensure efficient deployment and scaling of applications;
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards;
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions;
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members;
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and continuously improve the development process.
What will help you succeed:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development with a focus on microservices architecture;
Extensive experience with Spring Boot for building microservices;
Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS;
Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and management;
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines;
Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases;
Proficiency with Git or other version control systems;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Intermediate English skills.
