Data Engineer

We are looking for a  Data Engineer to join our Data&AI Studio.

This Studio harnesses the power of data & AI to create new and better experiences and services, going above and beyond extracting value out of data and automation. Our aim is to empower clients with a competitive advantage by unlocking the true value of data and AI to create meaningful, actionable and timely business.

 You will get the chance to:

• Design and develop data storage solutions;
• Create and manage data flows;
• Implement and manage data pipelines for processing and transforming data from heterogeneous sources;
• Collaborate with data architects and software developers to ensure data solutions' integrity, security, and scalability;
• Maintain detailed documentation of implemented architectures, pipelines, and procedures;
• Collaborate with the data development and analytics team to understand project requirements and define technical specifications.

What will help you succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
• Proven experience in designing and developing data solutions, preferably on Azure platforms;
• Knowledge of Azure technologies (such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database and others);
• Knowledge of Azure Databricks;
• Advanced skills in SQL and one or more programming languages (for example  PySpark, Spark, or Scala);
• Familiarity with data lake architecture and data governance principles;
• Ability to design and optimize data pipelines for high performance and scalability;
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams;
• Fluent English.
