We are looking for a Data Architect to join our Data and AI Studio at Globant!

This Studio harnesses the power of data & AI to create new and better experiences and services, going above and beyond extracting value out of data and automation. Our aim is to empower clients with a competitive advantage by unlocking the true value of data and AI to create meaningful, actionable and timely business.

You will get the chance to:

Design and project management of data architectures
ETL data flow design
Data acquisition in Hadoop/Hive/HDFS from different sources
Creating cloud-based data lakes using Apache Spark and visualizing ETL orchestration
Implement, install, and configure multi-node clusters on Cloud using Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Implementation of data quality rules
Migrating large volumes of data from data warehouses
Ensuring scalability, flexibility, and efficiency of solutions, using cloud services from AWS or Azure or GCP
Ensuring proper data extraction and cleansing
Design architectures in AWS or Azure or GCP, including cloud migrations
Determine the feasibility of Big Data side projects
Write queries with Hive
Supervise data migration projects on Hadoop
Analyzing large amounts of data sets to determine the best way to aggregate them and create reports
Develop Shell, Perl, Python scripts to automate the control flow
