Job Summary:
The Salesforce QA Test Lead will be responsible for leading the QA efforts for Salesforce projects, ensuring that all applications are thoroughly tested and meet the highest quality standards. This role involves creating and implementing testing strategies, managing a team of QA testers, and collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA testing efforts for Salesforce applications, ensuring all features are tested thoroughly and meet business requirements.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for Salesforce projects.
- Manage and mentor a team of QA testers, providing guidance and support throughout the testing process.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of Salesforce applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential testability issues.
- Utilize automated testing tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, defects, and overall quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure alignment with development and business objectives.
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases and testing best practices, incorporating new tools and methodologies as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on Salesforce applications.
- Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing testing processes.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform features, functionalities, and best practices.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer) are a plus.
