Martech/Adobe Studio CX Director

We are looking for a CX Director to lead our Customer Experience area within the Adobe Studio EMEA, based in Madrid with responsibility across Europe and the Middle East. This is a key executive role, responsible for defining, scaling, and leading our CX capabilities, managing a team of approximately 60 professionals specialized in Customer Experience solutions within the Adobe ecosystem. The role will report directly to the Martech / Adobe Studio Lead EMEA and will play a fundamental role not only in delivery, but also in defining the vision, positioning, and growth of the practice in the market.

This role is designed for a leader who wants to build and scale a CX practice in EMEA, not simply manage an existing one.

 

What You Will Do

 

CX Leadership (EMEA)

  • Lead and grow the Customer Experience area of Adobe Studio in EMEA
  • Manage and scale a team of ~60 professionals
  • Define the vision, structure, and evolution of the practice
  • Develop the different CX verticals:
    • Data (CDP, Analytics, CJA)
    • Journey Orchestration (AJO, Marketo, Campaign)
    • CX Optimization (Adobe Target, Target Premium)
    • Content Supply Chain (Workfront, Firefly, Gen Studio)

 

Hyperpersonalization & Agentic Future

  • Lead the definition of hyperpersonalization strategies at scale
  • Drive the use of advanced Adobe capabilities in:
    • Real-time CDP
    • Journey orchestration
    • Decisioning and experimentation
  • Explore and apply Adobe’s new agentic and AI-driven capabilities
  • Position the team as a reference in next-generation experience orchestration

 

Go-To-Market & Business Development

  • Work directly with the Go-To-Market area of Adobe Studio to:
    • Define differentiated offerings, frameworks, and approaches
    • Build value propositions for Tier 1 clients
  • Actively participate in:
    • Large commercial opportunities
    • Strategic RFPs
    • Executive presentations
  • Contribute to pipeline generation and revenue

 

Client Relationship & Brand Positioning

  • Build relationships with key clients (Tier 1)
  • Act as a strategic advisor at the C-level
  • Represent Adobe Studio in the market
  • Build brand and positioning around CX, Adobe, and hyperpersonalization

 

Experience Strategy & Orchestration

  • Design and lead end-to-end Customer Experience strategies
  • Define Next Best Conversation models
  • Translate business needs into data-driven experience solutions
  • Drive measurable impact on conversion, engagement, and revenue

 

Content Demand Definition

  • Define content needs based on customer journeys and personalization
  • Promote the use of modular, dynamic, and scalable content
  • Align content strategy with Content Supply Chain teams

 

What We Are Looking For

 

  • 12+ years of experience in Customer Experience, Martech, or Digital Strategy
  • Experience leading large teams (30–100+ people)
  • Experience in consulting or large-scale transformation programs
  • Experience working with clients and stakeholders at the executive leve.

 

Key Requirement – Adobe Ecosystem

 

This role requires strong expertise in the Adobe ecosystem, both functionally and conceptually.

Proven experience working with Adobe CX platforms is essential, including:

  • Adobe Experience Platform (RTCDP)
  • Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
  • Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
  • Adobe Target (including Target Premium)
  • Adobe Campaign / Marketo
  • Workfront, Firefly, and Content Supply Chain capabilities

This is not a hands-on technical implementation role, but it does require the ability to:

  • Deeply understand platform capabilities
  • Design end-to-end solutions
  • Lead teams specialized in implementation and operations
