Data Analyst Copenhagen

Vertic, Globant division is currently looking for a Data Analyst to join its Globant GUT Strategy Studio in Copenhagen. In that role you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex data from various sources into insights that drive strategic decision-making in marketing, branding, and communications. You will be an integral part of the 'Insights & Strategy' department, a dynamic team of analysts, strategists, and media specialists. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting thorough analyses to generate insights that empower both internal teams and clients to make informed decisions across brand strategy, product launches, campaign planning, media planning, and engagement strategies. 


Your day to day work will be shaped by the projects we have at that given period of time, but across the year you can expect approximately: 

 

 

  • Data Analysis 60%: The majority of your time will be spent hands-on conducting data analysis to deliver on insights projects for our clients and internal teams.

  1. Take ownership of digital insights projects from start to finish, including briefing, scoping, data collection, analysis, drawing conclusions, providing recommendations, and delivering presentations. 

  2. Become an expert in the digital insights services and methods that we offer (social listening, search engine analysis, influencer mapping, web analytics, competitor profiling etc.) through a range of SaaS tools (e.g. Brandwatch, SEMRUSH, Traackr etc.) and our  custom built toolbox of AI applications for data processing and analysis (written in Python). 

 

  • Insights Communication 20%:  An important part of your job will be to reflect on what the data and insights mean in the context of our clients and the challenges they face. 

  1. Consolidate and distil often complex and larger data briefs (from our own digital insights, client provided market research, interviews, surveys, brand plans/ strategies etc.) into clear, impactful insights that inform business, brand, and marketing strategies/ decisions. 

  2. Create data visualizations and write reports that effectively convey your work. 

  3. Liaison with client and internal teams (account, creative, project management) and collaborate closely with Insights & Strategy colleagues (strategists, campaign planners).

 

  • Data Science 20%: We constantly innovate the insights services that we offer. You will play an important role in testing and suggesting new approaches as part of your work. Particularly exploring how to keep leveraging the fast-developing space of Generative AI in data analysis and insights work.

  1. Continuously enhance our insights services by exploring new data sources, tools, testing and developing innovative frameworks, integration of new technologies (e.g., AI/LLMs) and refining how results are created and presented. 

  2. Support in the development of new custom AI tools (written in Python) and the updating and refinement of existing tools.

  3. Define approaches to solve new requirements, problems, or data use cases. 

 

What will help you succeed:

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degrees in Data Science, Statistics, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.

  • A minimum of 3 years in data analysis, business intelligence, or data science.  

  • Strong data literacy and analytics skills. 

  • Business acumen with a strategic mindset.

  • Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences. 

  • Proficiency in Python and experience working with Jupyter Notebooks. 

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.

  • Familiarity with digital intelligence tools such as social listening platforms (e.g. Brandwatch, Netbase) and search/ web analysis tools (e.g. Semrush, Google/Adobe Analytics etc.)

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

 

Bonus, but not required, experience:  

 

  • Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j

  • Experience with web analytics (Adobe, Google).

  • Experience with healthcare, life science, medico, and pharmaceutical industries. 

  • Experience with the b2b software industry space.
