Application Support - Monterrey
🚀 About the Role
At Globant, we are looking for a Mid-Level Support Engineer who is passionate about cloud-based platforms, performance monitoring, and solving complex technical issues in web-based environments.
You will play a key role in ensuring high availability, system reliability, and seamless authentication experiences across modern distributed applications.
This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills, cloud exposure, and experience supporting web applications in production environments.
🧩 What You’ll Do
Monitor, investigate, and resolve Level 2 incidents for cloud-hosted applications
Analyze application logs, infrastructure metrics, and performance indicators
Perform root cause analysis and document findings clearly
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to resolve defects and recurring issues
Support authentication and authorization workflows (SSO, OAuth, federated access)
Work with monitoring tools to detect performance degradation and system anomalies
Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes and operational workflows
Maintain clear documentation using ITIL-based incident management tools
🛠What We’re Looking For
Technical Skills
2–4 years of experience supporting web-based applications
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as:
Datadog
Dynatrace
AppDynamics
CloudWatch
Strong knowledge of:
REST APIs
HTTP status codes
Log analysis
Experience with Linux (log review, process management, basic scripting)
Ability to write SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting
Understanding of authentication concepts (SSO, OAuth, tokens)
Nice to Have
Exposure to tools like Ping Federate or similar IAM solutions
Knowledge of Apache, JBoss, or similar middleware
DevOps mindset
AWS, Azure, or ITIL certifications
