Right now, we are looking for an Application Support, to join our team at Globant!

 

You will get the chance to:

 

  • Support operation/client´s day-to-day requests and issues within established SLAs.
  • Monitor all related systems metrics and resources while keeping track of infrastructure and operational usage for improvements.
  • Take ownership of complex technical tasks, processes and deployments of releases and patches.
  • Analyze and identify recurrent issues.
  • Deal with clients, vendors and all IT sectors involved, ensuring the service quality and keeping a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism.
  • Describe problems in a clear and accurate manner while assisting on its implementation and documenting solutions, following standard communication processes according to best practices of the industry.
  • Work as part of a global team.
  • Acting as POC of support for operations, clients, vendors and all IT sectors involved on project.
  • Evaluate customer’s business requirements, needs and objectives and transform them to company processes, solutions and modules being implemented.
  • Able to manage/participate actively in the full cycle of maintenance and enhancements projects, encompassing from the design of the solution through the testing phase
  • Analyze and solve complex customer issues related to data and processes.
  • Finding the gap between As-Is and To-Be processes (Gap Analysis).
  • Deep knowledge of application objectives, runbooks, scope, its operational flow, infrastructure and technologies involved.
  • Coaching of team members in best practices, complex issues resolution,processes, methodologies, scripting / coding / configuration practices, etc.
  • Documentation: Review and update the knowledge base, its runbooks, job aids, etc.
  • Helping to increase a team´s knowledge by registering new topics and improvements.
