Business Analyst
About the role
What you will do
- Conduct research and gather data to support project objectives and decision-making.
- Analyze and document business processes, requirements, and workflows.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements specifications, process maps, and user stories.
- Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Deloitte project team and client stakeholders to clarify scope, validate assumptions, and align on priorities.
- Support change management activities by maintaining clear, version-controlled documentation and traceability.
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, project analyst, or similar role supporting complex projects.
- Strong ability to conduct research, synthesize data, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
- Proven experience analyzing and documenting business processes, requirements, and workflows.
- Proficiency creating and maintaining project documentation: requirements specs, process maps, user stories, and status reports.
- Experience assisting with project planning, timelines, and deliverable tracking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Proficiency with standard productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Visio/Lucidchart or similar).
- Ability to work effectively in a contractor capacity within a large consulting engagement.
- Ability to work onsite in Dallas, TX as required by the project.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience supporting Deloitte or other top-tier consulting project teams.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience with requirements management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Smartsheet).
- Background in [insert relevant domain: e.g., financial services, healthcare, public sector, technology transformation].
