Application Support Engineer (Splunk and GCP)

We’re looking for an Application Support Engineer with strong experience in Splunk and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring system reliability, performance, and visibility across our production environments.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and optimize Splunk dashboards, alerts, and data ingestion for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Implement and maintain GCP Operations Suite (Stackdriver) for logs, metrics, and alerts.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to resolve production issues and improve observability.
- Automate monitoring processes using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Participate in on-call rotations and drive root cause analysis for incidents.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in application or production support, performance monitoring, or DevOps.
- Hands-on expertise with Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud (SPL, dashboards, data modeling).
- Strong working knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and IAM.
- Experience with automation and scripting for monitoring or deployment tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Google Cloud or Splunk certifications.
